March 8, 1997 Bob, Alexander, myself and 20 friends constructed a 35' geodesic dome home. We purchased the kit from Lydick's Domes in Pennsylvania. Click on his site for some neat pictures of domes. We had previously laid the foundation and subfloor. Within about 18 hours a complete shell had emerged. By Monday afternoon it had windows and doors. An amazing feat in just one weekend. Currently we are working on the roofing and siding. By the end of summer we hope to able to move into a complete vacation home.
