I currently serve as the Eastern Regional Representative for the NBDA.  I have been a member since 1995.

I am one of the Program Coordinators as well as the Conference Liaison that organized the first ever National Deaf People of Color Conference that was hosted in Indianapolis, Indiana in 2007 which was a great success. Our second conference will be in Portland, Oregon June 24-27, 2010.

Currently working as the workshop coordinator for the local DC chapter of the BDA in preparation for the Eastern Regional Conference in April 2008.

Served as the workshop coordinator for this conference held at Gallaudet University in April 2008.  The conference was a great success and the next Eastern Regional conference will be held in spring of 2010.
