BUS448 Business Law II
Who should take it?
This course is open to any student with an interest in learning about the application of business law to partnerships and corporations. It is a Business Administration elective. It is advisable to take Business Law I prior to taking this course but this is not required. Students should be in advanced standing in their major.
This course may be of particular interest to those considering law school after graduation, to those who may be considering establishing their own business some day and to those who may some day wish to sit for the CPA exams if their state requires 6 hours of Business Law to qualify.

Debtor and Creditor Relations
Legal terminology is an important part of the course since words in a legal context have very precise meaning which may be very different from the common meaning of words. Legal terminology counts as 30% of each of the tests given in the course. While there is no comprehensive tutorial on Business Law II concepts at this time, (as there is for Business Law I concepts one needs to learn are included in the web pages.
