
Dr. Michael "Mike" Moore received his baccalaurate degree in Chemistry from Gallaudet University in 1968, and Master of Science in Chemistry from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas in 1970 and Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry (Spectroscopy) from University of North Texas in Denton, Texas in 1976. His current interests are in computer-interfacing with experiments and computer- assisted instruction of chemistry-related topics. As a member of the Chemistry and Physics Department at Gallaudet University for 17 years, he currently teaches Introduction to Chemistry, Quantitative Analysis I and II, Instrumental Analysis, and Environmental Chemistry. Also, he is active in the faculty governance within the University and is a member of the American Chemicial Society and Mid-Atlantic Association of Liberal Arts Chemistry Teachers (MAALACT).
